LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Before the exorcism, locals got together to pray for Laura's soul and for her redemption at the Lutheran Charismatic Church in the capital of Buenos Aires.
Bishop Acuna mutters, "Leave, leave her now."
Laura screams, "No, no," as she tries to get away while spitting and clawing at the women holding her down.
According to Bishop Acuna, the demon exists. "He's not an idea, he's not a theory, he's not something abstract. The devil is a personality and therefore has a strategy," he explains. "We are talking about something terrifying, a fallen angel. The devil is not a metaphor. The devil is something real that Jesus Christ faced."

While Laura was being held down in a chamber, local man Augustus Amador Arevalo there to pray for her said, "We could hear her screaming and crying and we prayed for her deliverance... She had to be exorcised, she had to be free."
"The devil looks for the perdition of the human being and for this he will use any possible evil instrument," described Bishop Acuna.
The exorcism finally comes to an end as her body gives up with a strangled cry. Laura then falls back exhausted.
"Thank God, we've recovered a daughter of God," stated Bishop Acuna. "You haven't seen a major exorcism. This was a group of demons similar to the ones that Jesus faced. Her delivery is God's gift for us today."
